About the projects

Namada is a privacy-centric, multichain asset hub designed to protect data across various blockchains. It features a modular shielding layer, enabling users to choose between transparent and shielded transactions. Namada rewards users for shielding their assets, enhancing the overall privacy of the network. Key functionalities include shielded actions for cross-chain DeFi, interoperability with the IBC protocol, and an Ethereum bridge for ERC20 tokens. Namada supports seamless, secure interactions across multiple blockchains while maintaining data confidentiality.

Penumbra is a privacy-focused, cross-chain L1 network designed for private transactions, staking, swapping, and market making in any crypto asset. It ensures user privacy by shielding all activities using ZKPs, preventing the exposure of personal information. Key features include shielded proof-of-stake mechanisms, private swaps with sealed-bid batch execution, and protected market maker strategies. Penumbra integrates with IBC, allowing communication across different blockchain zones.

ZK in Cosmos (formerly Privacy in Cosmos) is an event series hosted by ZKV.

In the last three years, we have hosted five events, two of them IRL, to showcase the privacy use cases built in the Cosmos ecosystem.

The first four events were funded by the Cosmos Hub. Since last year with Privacy in Cosmos Live in Prague, we have been self-funding the event to give back to the community.
