A little bit of chit chat

The first on-chain funded open-source font has been released. Its name is Unbonded, and the Polkadot Treasury funded it. The font supports Latin and Cyrillic alphabets with over 1300 unique glyphs, which makes it able to support hundreds of languages.

Making Centrifuge more secured

Another audit has been performed to measure the security level of the Centrifuge and the RWA lending app being built on top of it. This time around, the agency conducting the audit was Security Research Labs.

The audit found 12 vulnerabilities, all of which the Centrifuge team solved. Among those findings, some critical bugs were affecting the core business logic, such as incorrectly flagging healthy loans as unhealthy.

Security Research Labs will continue offering audits to Centrifuge as it keeps growing in volume.

Acala incident latest update

Some weeks after the aUSD incident, the Acala team completed the tracement of transactions. The results show a total of 281 addresses involved, a total balance of 52.068M outstanding aUSD; 42.4M are still in those addresses.

With this report, stage 1 of the plan drafted by the Acala team is completed. Three more steps are on the line and should be completed as follows:

The community can verify the report’s information and formulate proposals to resolve the issue.

The community can formulate proposals to re-collateralize aUSD

The community can reformulate service resumption plans and make decisions.

It’s expected that the following steps will happen in the next couple of weeks as the Acala ecosystem prepares to relaunch.
